With the accumulation of snow today, and anticipated below-freezing temperatures overnight, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD will be closed Friday, January 10, 2025. All facilities will be closed and any scheduled practices and activities are also canceled. Any changes to weekend extracurricular activities will be communicated by the group’s sponsor or coach.
GCISD’s 2024-2025 instructional calendar has a sufficient number of minutes to cover this weather-related closure and the days will not have to be made up. Have a safe and warm weekend, and we look forward to welcoming our staff and students back on Monday, January 13!

It’s the FINAL week of school for 2024, GCISD! Keep up the hard work, stay focused and make these last few days count. As a reminder, this Friday, December 20, is an early release day for ALL GCISD students, except for those attending iUniversity Prep.

Early voting begins today, Monday, October 21, and continues through Friday, November 1. Tarrant County registered voters can vote at any Vote Center location during Early Voting and on Election Day. We are excited for our first Experience Design Week - Sept. 30-Oct. 4. Students are encouraged to dress up each day.
To foster your child’s love of reading, it's important to make reading part of your daily routine. In fact, a child who reads 20 minutes a day will hear 1.8 MILLION words per year. #readingmatters
Students and staff are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue on Wednesday in remembrance of September 11, 2001.

📣 College Colors Day and AVID Day are both on Friday, August 30, and we invite the GCISD community to wear their favorite college gear! 📣
This annual celebration promotes college readiness and the spirit that embodies the college experience. Use #WeAreGCISD and tag GCISD to show your college pride. AVID, which stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination, is a college and career readiness system and elective course offered in all GCISD middle schools, Colleyville Heritage High School and Grapevine High School.
National College Colors Day in 2024 will be on Friday, August 30, the first Friday before Labor Day. The day is celebrated by students, friends, family, and alumni wearing their favorite school's colors to show their support and loyalty as fans.
