Today after school, we had a fantastic time at our Principal’s Book Club! Mrs. Wahpekeche captivated us with a reading of "Would You, Could You, Plant a Tree with Dr. Seuss's Lorax," while Mrs. Hale taught us all about seeds! Mrs. Hale even brought sunflower seeds for us to try! To wrap up the fun, we decorated pots and planted Sweet Pea flowers to take home. It was a wonderful afternoon of learning and creativity!

Today is School Resource Officer Day, and we're shining the spotlight on our very own Officer Weber! 🌟👮‍♂️ This man of many talents goes above and beyond for our school and students every single day. Tonight, we wrap up our One School, One Book adventure with The Wild Robot! We ended this amazing journey with a special WebEx featuring Farah Zuberi, Director of Spacecraft Mission Management at Firefly Aerospace. Our students took "Earth Selfies" and got an incredible look into what it takes to build a real robot destined for the moon from a former GES Star!! A huge thank you to our families for reading The Wild Robot with us and making this experience so special.
