Counselor's Corner

My mission is to provide a comprehensive developmental school counseling program, aligned with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Program Implementation Models. I will address the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students using guidance curriculum (going into classrooms to conduct character lessons), responsive services (crisis, immediate needs), individual planning (assisting students with their goals and goal setting), and system support (providing services that indirectly benefit students; including parental workshops and coffee with the counselor).

 As a leader, advocate, and collaborator in the school community, I will provide and facilitate appropriate services to meet the needs of all of our Shooting Stars, so that they may reach their fullest potential!
