Marissa Salinas-Alvarado

My name is Marissa Salinas-Alvarado and I have been teaching since 1999, but teaching Art since 2013.  My home campus is Silver Lake Elementary, home of the Shooting Stars, where Experience Design gives students the opportunity to enhance their learning through fun and engaging experiences! 
I have a Bachelor's degree in Art from the University of Texas at Austin and am a Grapevine native. 
My goal is to help your child love Art, be willing to take risks with regards to creating art, and tap into their artistic expression through their own creative process!

Mi nombre es Marissa Salinas-Alvarado y he trabajado como maestra desde 1999.  He sido maestra de arte desde los 2013.  Trabajo en la escuela primaria de Silver Lake, donde las "Estrellas Fugaces" aprenden por medio de experiencias diseñadas por los maestros.  Los estudiantes se divierten y se involucran más en su aprendizaje  por medio de estas experiencias. 
Recibí un bachillerato de arte de la Universidad de Tejas en Austin y soy una nativa de Grapevine.
Mi meta es inculcarles el amor por el arte a sus hijos, apoyarles a que tomen riesgos con crear arte, y cultivarlos en su proceso artístico!
