One of my greatest joys is serving our community. Watching the students learn and grow over the years is the ultimate reward!

Students thrive in an engaging and rigorous classroom, and the teachers and staff of Silver Lake design intentional lessons to meet this standard. As an experience design campus, students have the opportunity to explore hands on learning and classroom transformations. This makes coming to school every day exciting for the students and everyone that works in our building.

The students of our dual language program get the opportunity to learn content in both English and Spanish; what a unique opportunity within itself.

I am lucky to work at Silver Lake every day, where every child is nurtured.

On a personal note, I am currently working on my doctorate at Dallas Baptist University, and am a graduate of Southern Methodist University. I previously worked at Timberline and Silver Lake in administrative positions, and have also served the students of Irving ISD. My family and I love to go to Grapevine parks on the weekend, and enjoy watching Disney movies together.
