Becky Sporrer

Hello! I am so excited to serve Silver Lake as the librarian! Learning is a passion of mine, and I try to share that with all of my students. I graduated from the University of North Texas, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics. I earned my Master’s Degree in Library Science from Texas Woman’s University. I began my Silver Lake career teaching 5th grade and became a librarian in 2010.

Teaching is a family business for me! I am married to a high school social studies teacher and basketball coach. We have twin daughters that are a blessing to us.
