Hello, My Name Is...

Donna Morgan

My name is Mrs. Donna Morgan and I am very excited to return to SLE to be your child’s 5th Grade Monolingual Humanities teacher this year! I am originally from Long Island, New York, and am fairly new to Texas. I attended Ohio University on a swimming scholarship and graduated college in 1989. I began my teaching career in Hoboken, New Jersey, and then moved to Athens, Ohio where I taught 1st and 2nd grade for 4 years.  For 23 years I taught 6th Grade English and Social Studies for Belpre City School District in Belpre, Ohio. My passion is teaching, and I truly love what I do! I also enjoy reading, cooking, visiting family in New York, and decorating! I am very much looking forward to this year and what new things we can learn together!
