Welcome to second grade!

Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, and great experiences in math and science. I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students and to develop a desire to become life-long learners.

This is my sixth year of teaching. I am married to my wonderful husband, Levent for 12 years. We have a daughter and son, Zara and Zain. They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies that I enjoy are playing board games, watching movies and working out. My husband and I live in Flower Mound. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I am the youngest of 5 children. I graduated from UNT in 2015 with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and ESL.

Thank you for the opportunity to share this exciting year with your precious children! I am thrilled that they are in my class and look forward to sharing many wonderful experiences with them and your family as we grow and learn together!
