Welcome to Kindergarten!
My name is Dianne Tovey and I am so excited to be teaching Dual Language Kindergarten at Silver Lake Elementary! My husband Jeff and I moved to Texas 28 years ago and have two children. Jake is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh and Laura recently graduated from Texas A&M University. I attended Purdue University and earned a B.A. in Spanish/Psychology, B.S. in Early Childhood Education/Kindergarten and a M.S. in Bilingual Education. I have 17 years teaching experience in bilingual education crossing many states - Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, California, Utah and Texas. I am looking forward to a terrific year!
¡Bienvenido a Kindergarten! ¡Mi nombre es Dianne Tovey y estoy muy emocionada de enseñar Kindergarten Bilingüe en Silver Lake Elementary! Mi esposo Jeff y yo nos mudamos a Texas hace 28 años y tenemos dos hijos. Jake se graduó de la Universidad de Pittsburgh y Laura se graduó recientemente de la Universidad de Texas A&M.
